Bowflex TreadClimber TC200 Review
Bowflex TreadClimber TC200 Rating
Detailed Overview
This hybrid fitness machine looks much like a treadmill with a split track. Its long treadles support low-impact motion similar to elliptical pedaling but with great versatility: Trainees can take short strides to replicate climbing and elliptical training or can power walk with a maximum 58″ footpath. Stride length on a TreadClimber changes naturally with the automated incline, which has a maximum setting of 40 percent. The various incline settings make it easy to focus on toning specific muscle groups in the lower body such as the calves or glutes.
Depending on the angle used for training, calorie burn with a TreadClimber can be up to 2.5 times faster than it is on a traditional treadmill at the same speed. As the top TreadClimber model the TC200 has the collection’s highest top speed, 4.5 mph. The treadle belts can also move as slowly as 0.5 mph.
Customizable built-in programs provide interval training and workouts for time, distance and calorie goals. Additionally Bowflex TreadClimber owners get free access to four Motion Traxx workouts online. A holder and charging port for a tablet computer are provided behind the console monitor.
Four users can save profiles to the TreadClimber TC200 console. With Bluetooth their workout data can be transferred to a Bowflex mobile app and shared with popular fitness apps.

The Bottom Line
The Bowflex TC200 TreadClimber is a high quality alternative to ellipticals, treadmills and stair steppers. This model has it all: It’s comfortable to use, more effective than alternatives, and equipped with helpful training programs as well as mobile data sharing. Its only potential downside for many shoppers is the MSRP of $3,299, which explains why the simpler TC100 is even more popular.
